- Anyone who needs an official FOV. Not on this table; superlight FAQ refuses FOV — do not invent a Mark II degree.
- Eyeglass wearers. Same 0 to −7 D / add-on-lens path as superlight; no eyeglasses sentence on this page either.
- AMD-GPU PCs. Minimum table: will not operate with GPUs other than the listed NVIDIA families.
- Standalone / wireless shoppers. Wired SteamVR visor.
Key differentiators
- 3552×3840 per eye; 90 / 75 / 72 Hz (Mark II table). Superlight 8K is 90 Hz only.
- Windows 11 minimum vs superlight Windows 10. New unnamed CPU/OS; startup “less than one-fifth” of the previous model (Shiftall).
- USB-C expansion 5 V / 2.1 A (raised vs previous). Two X1 dongles in the box, not one X2.
Caveats
- Yen conflict: 2025-10-14 JP announce ¥249,900 tax included vs live JP PDP ¥279,900 tax included. EN stays $1,899. Date the URL; do not average.
- KR won on EN Mark II is ₩2,799,000 vs superlight EN ₩2,499,000. Same-family SKUs, different won cells.
- FOV unpublished on the Mark II table. Do not copy Dream Air or Beyond 2 degrees. Superlight FAQ refuses FOV — still not a Mark II number.
- 179 g is main body only on both EN and JP tables. Do not add strap kits and call it 179 g worn.
- JP box list adds a 7 cm USB-C cable that the EN package list omits. Quote the locale.
- Enterprise maintenance / ART clip-on / 5 m and 10 m cables are options, not this H1’s in-box kit.
- No hands-on testing.

Is the Japanese price ¥249,900 or ¥279,900?
Both are Shiftall numbers. The 14 October 2025 announce printed ¥249,900. The live JP product page printed ¥279,900 on 19 September 2026. We do not pick one.
What is the FOV?
