Galaxy XR is Samsung’s Android XR headset. It is a spatial-computer peer to Vision Pro and a library/platform fork from Quest. Legacy phone shell: /vr/samsung-gear-vr/ — do not copy 27M/29M or $1,799.99 onto that slug.

No. Samsung says it is standalone Android XR. A Samsung and/or Google account is required for apps. PC casting is optional and needs extra software.
