About GadgetShowdown
GadgetShowdown helps you choose between specific gadgets. A comparison puts two named models side by side and answers the question first: which one to get, who it suits and what it costs. A product guide says who a product is for, what decides it, and what to buy instead if it isn’t right for you.
What we cover
We write about the gadgets people most often compare before buying: smartwatches and fitness watches, phones, earbuds, headphones, fitness rings, smart glasses, VR headsets, laptops, tablets and handheld gaming consoles. We cover the current models and the older ones people still own or buy used, so each guide can say whether an upgrade is worth it.
How we work
We work from the makers’ own spec sheets, support documents and announcements, cross-check them, and cite them with the date we checked. When two sources give different figures, the page gives both and says so. We don’t run lab tests, and we don’t invent scores or measurements. The details are on our Methodology page.
Who publishes it
GadgetShowdown is published by Stealth Launch, LLC, based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. No brand pays for coverage or for a recommendation.
How the site makes money
Reading GadgetShowdown is free. We earn a commission when you buy through our Amazon links, and we show ads from Google AdSense. Neither decides which product we recommend; our Affiliate Disclosure explains how that works.
