In short
8K Plus is dual-4K CLPL / 200° D PCVR. Keep RU 500 g versus JP “about 1 pound,” and RU 75–90 versus JP 90/110. Do not copy the RU page’s 2560×1440 / 470 g block here. No invented US in-stock cart.
Who it is for
- Owners documenting 8K Plus from Pimax’s JP SMAS, RU spec table, and US outlet ticket.
Who should skip it
- Shoppers treating 8K X / 5K Super / Crystal Super as this H1.
- People who need one official mass — RU 500 g and JP “about 1 pound” disagree.
- Standalone shoppers. 8K Plus is DisplayPort-class PCVR.
Key differentiators
- Dual 3840 × 2160 CLPL (JP + RU first block); RU: 7.5 million pixels total.
- 200° diagonal (JP + RU). RU also prints 170° horizontal.
- SteamVR 1.0/2.0 (RU). Dual Fresnel (RU).
Caveats
- Mass conflict: RU table 500 g vs JP “weighs only about 1 pound.” Flag both; do not average; do not convert 1 pound into a second gram cell.
- Refresh conflict: RU 75–90 Hz vs JP 90 Hz full screen + experimental 110 Hz.
- Do not copy the second RU spec block (2×2560×1440 / 470 g / 90–120 Hz / 140°). That is a 5K-class row on the same page.
- US outlet has no spec bullets — do not invent resolution from that URL.
- No hands-on testing.

Overview
8K Plus stays a hub so 8K X’s DMAS/SMAS list and the RU page’s 5K-class block are not flattened onto one SKU. Same-era: /vr/pimax-8k-x/, /vr/pimax-5k-super/. Later: /vr/pimax-crystal-light/.
