Apple Watch Series 10

Series 10 is the 2024 42/46mm everyday Watch: S10, 18 / 36-hour OEM table, 2,000-nit LTPO3, ECG, Blood Oxygen, and a depth gauge — LTE/UMTS only, no 5G RedCap on the leftover sheet.

In short

Series 10 is the 2024 42/46mm everyday Watch: S10, 18 / 36-hour OEM table, 2,000-nit LTPO3, ECG, Blood Oxygen, and a depth gauge — LTE/UMTS only, no 5G RedCap on the leftover sheet. Series 11 added the 24 / 38-hour table, 5G, a named 6m depth, and printed sleep score / hypertension. Buy leftover Series 10 only if the discount is real. Skip it if you want Series 12’s Health Sensing System or Ultra hardware.

Who it is for

  • iPhone owners shopping a two-gens-back Series ticket who want ECG, Blood Oxygen, Always-On 2,000 nits, and sleep-apnea notifications.
  • Series 9 owners who want the thinner 42/46mm case, wide-angle LTPO3, and ~30-minute 80% charge — and will accept the 18-hour table.
  • Buyers already in the Apple Watch / iPhone Xs-or-later stack who will charge every night.

Who should skip it

  • Anyone who wants Health Sensing System, readiness, Audio Intelligence, or Series 12’s 10-hour outdoor-workout row.
  • Anyone who wants 5G RedCap or Series 11’s 24 / 38-hour table. Support 121202 is LTE/UMTS and 18 / 36.
  • Anyone who wants Ultra hardware. No Action Button, no 100m / 40m dive path, no satellite, no 3,000-nit Ultra panel.
  • Buyers without a compatible iPhone. Support 121202 requires iPhone Xs or later, including iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), with iOS 18 or later. Current watchOS may require a newer iOS — re-check Apple.

Key differentiators

  • First 42/46mm Series case with wide-angle LTPO3 Always-On at up to 2,000 nits. Pixel grid matches leftover Series 11; grams are lighter on this sheet.
  • OEM battery table on Support 121202: up to 18 hours normal use, 36 hours Low Power; ~80% in about 30 minutes; 15 minutes ≈ 8 hours; 8 minutes ≈ 8 hours of sleep tracking.
  • Depth gauge + water-temperature sensor on a Series watch (Newsroom: Oceanic+ snorkeling path). Do not invent a “6m” figure — that number is on Series 11 Support 125093, not 121202.
  • S10 + 64GB + double tap + on-device Siri. Wrist flick is not listed on this leftover sheet.

Caveats

  • Every numeric battery and brightness line is an Apple claim. GadgetShowdown has not lab-tested Series 10.
  • apple.com/apple-watch-series-10/ 301s to apple.com/watch/ as of 19 September 2026. Cite Support 121202, not a dead product URL.
  • Sleep score and hypertension notifications are not rows on Support 121202. Later Series 11 Newsroom copy extended some of those features in software to older watches — label that as later Newsroom, do not pretend 121202 printed them.
  • Do not copy Series 11’s 6m depth, 5G RedCap, or 24-hour table onto this hub.

Overview

Apple Watch Series 10 is the September 2024 everyday Watch — the SKU already named on /watches/apple-watch-series-10-vs-apple-watch-ultra-3/. The leftover Support sheet (121202) is the live OEM source after apple.com/apple-watch-series-10/ started 301ing to apple.com/watch/. The physical product is a 42mm or 46mm aluminum or titanium watch, 9.7mm thick, with Digital Crown, side button, third-generation optical HR, electrical ECG path, and a depth gauge. There is no Action Button.

This hub exists so that vs-page can clone one honest leftover record instead of blending Series 11 hours onto 2024 hardware. The first table is watches-v1.

We do not claim we wore this watch.

Display

Always-On wide-angle LTPO3 OLED, 326 ppi, up to 2,000 nits / 1 nit minimum. 42mm is 374 × 446 (989 sq mm); 46mm is 416 × 496 (1,220 sq mm). Same pixel grid as leftover Series 11; grams on this sheet are lighter (46mm Al GPS 36.4 g vs Series 11’s 37.8 g).

Health and sensors

Sleep tracking

Sleep app with stages + apnea notifications. Charge footnote: 8 minutes ≈ 8 hours of sleep tracking. We have not measured a night.

Frequently asked questions

Does Series 10 have a 6m depth gauge?

Support 121202 lists a depth gauge and water-temperature sensor. It does not print “6 meters.” That figure is on Series 11 Support 125093. Do not invent it here.

Does Series 10 have 5G?

Not on Support 121202. Cellular is LTE and UMTS. 5G RedCap arrives on Series 11 models A3335 / A3337.

Does Series 10 get watchOS 27?

Yes. Apple’s Series 12 / watchOS 27 list is Series 9 or later, SE 3, and Ultra 2 or later. Series 10 is on that list.

Is $399 a street price?

$399 is Apple’s published US starting price on 9 September 2024. Leftover street tickets change. Re-check on the day you quote a number.

Does Series 10 have sleep score or hypertension notifications?

Those two rows are not on Support 121202. Sleep-apnea notifications are. Later Series 11 Newsroom copy extended sleep score and hypertension in software to some older watches — cite that later Newsroom if you mention them, and do not pretend the leftover spec sheet printed them.

Does Series 10 have Health Sensing System?

No. Support 121202 lists a third-generation optical heart sensor. Health Sensing System naming is Series 12 / Ultra 4.
