Overview
iPhone 16 Pro is the September 2024 compact Pro. Apple’s own framing at launch was Apple Intelligence, a larger 6.3-inch display, Camera Control, and A18 Pro. The physical product is a 6.3-inch titanium phone — 149.6 × 71.5 × 8.25 mm, 199 g — in four titanium finishes including first-year Desert Titanium.
This hub exists so the locked phone comparisons (Pixel 9 Pro vs 16 Pro; 16 Pro vs S25 Ultra) hang off one OEM record instead of leftover compare-page memory. The first spec table is phones-v1.
We do not claim we still have one on a desk. Where later Pros print 3000-nit outdoor peak or a typical-use hour, we keep 16 Pro locked to the 2000-nit / video-hours sheet.
Display
Support: Super Retina XDR, 2622 × 1206 at 460 ppi, ProMotion 120Hz, Always-On, Dynamic Island, 1000 / 1600 / 2000 nits. 17/18 Pro’s 3000-nit outdoor peak is a later sheet. The 6.3-inch diagonal is the same number 17/18 Pro keep; the 15 Pro sheet is still 6.1-inch / 2556×1179.

Software and what 2026 readers should not assume
Year introduced 2024. Support still hosts the hardware table. Apple Intelligence is a footnoted iOS 18-era add-on, not a reason to treat 16 Pro as an 18 Pro software twin. Update policy stays “not a numbered year-count.”
Price, SKUs, and what not to invent
Launch US start $999, 128GB–1TB. Models A3083 / A3084. Not current sell-in on apple.com/iphone as of 19 September 2026.
Do not invent Geekbench, a 4x 48MP tele on this SKU, or aluminum. The two locked vs-pages that already name 16 Pro should pull this hub.

No. 16 Pro is the 2024 SKU (year introduced: 2024 on Support). The current compact Pro hub is /phones/iphone-18-pro/. The 2025 in-between hub is /phones/iphone-17-pro/. Keep all three URLs. Do not 301 this page.
Does 16 Pro have Camera Control?
Yes. Support lists Camera Control on the chassis with a customizable default Fusion lens. 15 Pro does not. This is the 2024 fork.

Is $999 a 2026 street price?

How long is the battery?
Support: up to 27 hours video, 22 hours streamed, 85 hours audio. There is no typical-use hour row and no mAh. 18 Pro’s 24-hour typical-use claim is a different sheet.
MagSafe 15W or 25W?
25W MagSafe with a 30W-or-higher adapter. Qi2 is 15W on this sheet. 15 Pro was 15W MagSafe. 17 Pro’s Qi2 cell is 25W.
Physical SIM?
