Apple Watch Series 11

In short

Series 11 is the leftover 42/46mm everyday Watch: S10, 24 / 38-hour OEM table, 2,000-nit LTPO3, ECG, Blood Oxygen, sleep score, and hypertension notifications. It is not Series 12 — no Health Sensing System, no readiness score, no Audio Intelligence, no flashlight on Support 125093. Buy leftover Series 11 if the discount is real and you already own a compatible iPhone. Skip it if you want the 2026 sensor pack or Ultra hardware.

Who it is for

  • iPhone owners shopping leftover Series hardware who want ECG, Blood Oxygen, sleep score, and hypertension notifications without paying current Series 12 list.
  • Series 10 owners who want the 24 / 38-hour table, 5G RedCap, Ion-X “2× scratch resistance vs Series 10,” wrist-flick, and a named 6m depth gauge — and will accept no Health Sensing System.
  • Buyers already in the Apple Watch / iPhone 11-or-later stack who will charge every night.

Who should skip it

  • Anyone who wants Health Sensing System, a 0–10 readiness score, Audio Intelligence, or the flashlight row Series 12 prints. Support 125093 does not name those.
  • Anyone who wants Ultra hardware. No Action Button, no 100m / 40m dive path, no satellite, no 3,000-nit Ultra panel.
  • Buyers without a compatible iPhone. Support 125093 requires iPhone 11 or later, including iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), with iOS 26 or later.
  • Shoppers who need a published outdoor-workout hour. Support 125093 does not print a standalone GPS-workout row (the 24-hour test includes a 60-minute workout).

Key differentiators

  • Same 24 / 38-hour OEM battery table Series 12 still uses for normal / Low Power — Series 10 was 18 / 36. Fast charge: ~80% in about 30 minutes; 15 minutes ≈ 8 hours; 5 minutes ≈ 8 hours of sleep tracking.
  • Hypertension notifications and sleep score are on Support 125093 (region / age limits). Series 10’s leftover sheet does not print those two rows.
  • 5G RedCap on models A3335 / A3337. Series 10 cellular is LTE/UMTS only on Support 121202.
  • Depth gauge to 6 meters plus water-temperature sensor. Series 10 lists a depth gauge without that 6m figure on its leftover sheet.

Caveats

  • Every numeric battery and brightness line is an Apple claim. GadgetShowdown has not lab-tested Series 11.
  • apple.com/apple-watch-series-11/ 301s to apple.com/watch/ as of 19 September 2026. Cite Support 125093, not a dead product URL, as the official spec source.
  • Hypertension notifications, sleep-apnea notifications, ECG, and Blood Oxygen are regulated / region-limited. Cite Apple’s footnotes; do not invent clinical outcomes.
  • Do not copy Series 12 grams, pixels, or Health Sensing System wording onto this hub. 42mm Series 11 is 989 sq mm / 30.3 g Al GPS; Series 12’s official specs page is 970 sq mm / 32.2 g Al GPS.

Overview

Apple Watch Series 11 is the September 2025 everyday Watch. The leftover Support sheet (125093) is still the live OEM source after apple.com/apple-watch-series-11/ started 301ing to apple.com/watch/. The physical product is a 42mm or 46mm aluminum or titanium watch — 9.7mm thick — with Digital Crown, side button, third-generation optical HR, electrical ECG path, and a 6m depth gauge. There is no Action Button and no ceramic SKU on this sheet.

This hub exists so leftover Series vs current Series writers can cite Support 125093 instead of blending Series 12 grams onto last year’s case. The first table is watches-v1.

We do not claim we wore this watch.

Display

Always-On wide-angle LTPO3 OLED, 326 ppi, up to 2,000 nits / 1 nit minimum. 42mm is 374 × 446 (989 sq mm); 46mm is 416 × 496 (1,220 sq mm). Ion-X on aluminum (Apple’s 2× scratch claim versus Series 10 Ion-X); sapphire on titanium. Series 12 kept the same pixel grid on aluminum/titanium but published different active-area square millimeters and case widths — do not write “same chassis as Series 12.”

Health and sensors

Third-generation optical HR, electrical ECG, Blood Oxygen (wellness footnote), wrist temperature, 6m depth + water temperature, sleep stages, sleep score, sleep-apnea notifications, hypertension notifications. No Health Sensing System. No readiness score on this sheet.

Sleep tracking

Sleep app with stages, Sleep score, sleep-apnea notifications (18+, moderate-to-severe signs, not a diagnosis). 5 minutes of charge ≈ 8 hours of sleep tracking per Apple’s footnote.

Battery and charging (OEM table only)

Low Power ModeUp to 38 hours
Outdoor-workout hourNot published as its own row
Fast charge~80% in about 30 minutes; 15 min → up to 8h normal use; 5 min → up to 8h sleep tracking

Workouts

Support 125093 still gives dedicated running, hiking, cycling, and swimming blocks — Race Route, Pacer, form metrics, U.S. park maps, FTP, SWOLF. Keep sport_profiles short and put metric depth in extras.

Safety, payments, bands

Fall Detection, Crash Detection, Emergency SOS, international emergency calling, Backtrack, noise monitoring. Apple Pay and GymKit. One band in the box. Cellular models list Family Setup / For Your Kids.

Software

watchOS 26-era launch; watchOS 27 supported as Series 9 or later. Audio Intelligence stays a Series 12 / Ultra 4 (S11) row.

Price and what not to invent

US launch start is $399. Do not invent outdoor-workout hours, Health Sensing System, or a ceramic Series 11. Do not rewrite Series 12 to match this leftover sheet.

Frequently asked questions

Does Series 11 have Health Sensing System or readiness?

Not on Support 125093. Those names are Series 12 / Ultra 4. Series 11 keeps a third-generation optical heart sensor plus ECG and Blood Oxygen.

Does Series 11 get watchOS 27?

Yes. Apple’s Series 12 / watchOS 27 list is Series 9 or later, SE 3, and Ultra 2 or later. Series 11 is on that list. watchOS 27 still needs a current iOS floor on the paired iPhone.

Is $399 a street price?

$399 is Apple’s published US starting price on 9 September 2025. Leftover street tickets change. Cellular, titanium, bands, and AppleCare are separate. Re-check on the day you quote a number.

Does Series 11 have 5G?

Cellular models A3335 and A3337 list 5G RedCap and LTE on Support 125093. Data plan and carrier limits apply. Series 10’s leftover sheet is LTE/UMTS only.

Is Series 11 swimproof?

Apple rates it 50m under ISO 22810:2010 for shallow-water swimming. The footnote says not for scuba, waterskiing, or high-velocity water. The depth gauge is specified to 6 meters — that is not a scuba rating.

Does Series 11 track sleep?

Yes. Support 125093 lists a Sleep app with stages, a Sleep score, and sleep-apnea notifications (region-limited). We have not measured overnight accuracy.
