- Anyone who wants the current compact Pixel Pro. That is Pixel 11 Pro (Tensor G6, Android 17, $1,099, 256GB floor). This hub is the 2024 SKU.
- Buyers who need 11 Pro’s Pro Zoom 120x, 3600-nit peak, Qi2.2 25W Pixelsnap, HiLight, or dual-eSIM-only row. Those are later sheets.
- People who want Pixel 9 Pro XL. XL is 6.8-inch, different charge watts (up to 37W wired / 23W stand). Same cameras, different body.
- Shoppers using store.google.com/product/pixel_9_pro_specs — that URL redirected to the phones category on 2026-09-19. Use the Help article.

- First year Google sold Pro in two sizes. 9 Pro is the 6.3-inch one; XL is 6.8-inch. Blog: other than display size, charging speed, and power, they share specs.
- 16GB RAM on every 9 Pro storage SKU (128GB–1TB) — unlike 11 Pro’s 12GB-on-256GB split.

Caveats
- Legacy hub. Store product pages are gone; Help + 2024 blog are the OEM sources. Re-pull Help 7158570 on write day — Google edits that article as new Pixels ship.
- Charging watts live in footnotes: up to 27W wired (9 Pro) with the 45W Google charger; up to 21W on Pixel Stand (2nd gen); up to 12W Qi EPP. The body line only says “Google 45W charger” and “fast wireless (Qi-certified).”
- SIM is dual SIM (single nano + eSIM) on the Help page — not the dual-eSIM-only row 11 Pro prints.

Overview
Pixel 9 Pro is the August 2024 compact Pro — the first year Google split Pro into 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch. Google’s own framing was Tensor G4, Gemini, Super Actua, a 42MP front camera, and Satellite SOS. The Help article still publishes millimeters (152.8 × 72.0 × 8.5) and 199 g for rest-of-world, 7.0 oz US.
This hub exists so later phone writers can hang a legacy spoke off Pixel 11 Pro. The Google Store product URL is no longer a reliable spec source.
We do not claim we photographed one in 2026.

Is this the current Pixel Pro?
No. 9 Pro is the 2024 SKU. The current compact Pro hub is /phones/google-pixel-11-pro/. Keep both URLs. Do not 301 this page onto 11 Pro.
Is this Pixel 9 Pro XL?
No. 6.3-inch / 4700 mAh typical / up to 27W wired. XL is 6.8-inch / different charge footnotes (37W / 23W stand). Blog: same cameras and features otherwise.
Why isn’t the Google Store spec URL the source?
store.google.com/product/pixel_9_pro_specs redirected to the phones category on 19 September 2026. The live OEM table is the Pixel hardware Help article. Say that on vs-pages so nobody 404s.
How much RAM?
16GB on every Help-listed 9 Pro storage SKU. 11 Pro’s 256GB SKU drops to 12GB — do not unify those cells.
Nano-SIM or eSIM-only?
Help: dual SIM, single nano-SIM and eSIM, carrier-dependent. 11 Pro’s 2026 spec block is dual eSIM only. Quote the sheet for the phone you are on.
Is $999 a 2026 street price?
No. $999 is Google’s published US starting price on 13 August 2024. Leftover/refurb quotes change. Date them.
Battery numbers?
Typical 4700 mAh, min 4558 mAh, 24+ hours, up to 100 hours Extreme Battery Saver, ~55% in ~30 minutes on the 45W Google charger, up to 27W wired / 21W Pixel Stand. Those are Google lab footnotes, not our rundown.
Does 9 Pro have HiLight or Qi2.2 Pixelsnap?
Not on the 2024 Help block we pulled. Those are 11 Pro extras. 9 Pro lists Qi-certified wireless, Pixel Stand watts, and Battery Share.
