In short
One is the $399/$499 X1 pair at 50° — Bose, electrochromic, native 3DoF. Buy it as a cable monitor. Skip it for One Pro’s 57° / M-L IPD, leftover Air 2 Pro pricing, or Meta capture.
Who it is for
- Buyers who want X1 native 3DoF and Bose-tuned speakers without One Pro’s 57° / dual IPD SKUs.
- People stepping up from Air 2 / Air 2 Pro who will accept 50° instead of 57°.
Who should skip it
- Anyone who wants the 57° X Prism and M/L IPD split. That is [XREAL One Pro](/glasses/xreal-one-pro/).
- Anyone who wants leftover 46° / 500-nit electrochromic at Air 2 Pro’s sale price. That is [XREAL Air 2 Pro](/glasses/xreal-air-2-pro/).
- Anyone who wants everyday camera/AI glasses. See [Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2](/glasses/ray-ban-meta-gen-2/).
- Hosts without USB-C DisplayPort.
Key differentiators
- X1 chip: native 3DoF (Anchor / Follow) without a Beam for that 3DoF — shop: 3DoF supported, powered by glasses.
- Sound by Bose on the One series — not an Air 2 claim.
- OEM FoV 50° vs One Pro 57° vs Air 2 class 46° (device table).
Caveats
- Manufacturer and XREAL-lab claims only. We have not worn One.
- Weight: device table 82 g excluding cable; US shop compare now also 82 g; launch press and EU compare still 84 g. Table both. Do not pick a winner.
- Nits: launch press 600 (One) / 700 (One Pro); EU compare 600 nits; US shop compare now also prints 600 nits. The “US silent” caveat is stale. Still do not invent 700 nits on this SKU.
- XREAL 1S is a third SKU (52°, 1920×1200) — do not merge it here.
- Product photography is not hosted.

Frequently asked questions
Are these the same as One Pro?
No. Device table: One 50° / 82 g vs One Pro 57° / 87 g. Shop FAQ: Pro adds FoV, brightness, reflection control, and hardware IPD SKUs.
Why do some pages say 82 g and others 84 g?
Both are XREAL figures. The developer device table and the US shop compare now say 82 g excluding cable. The launch press and EU compare say 84 g. Quote both.
Do I need a Beam?
Native 3DoF is on the X1 (shop: powered by glasses). Beam Pro is still listed as compatible. Air 2-class Beam-required 3DoF is a different story — do not back-port it.
